I am a Lecturer in Statistics, having moved to Bath
in January 2004. Prior to that I was an undergraduate, postgraduate
and postdoc at the University of Durham.
My interests lie in Bayesian approaches to statistics, in particular Bayes linear methods, the analysis of collections of (second-order) exchangeable sequences, graphical models and uses of conditional independence. My present focus is upon developing methods (eg. Bayes linear kinematics) for updating models which have both fully and partially specified components. This work is in collaboration with Michael Goldstein.
I am also concerned with areas of operational research, in
particular the development and analysis of nonparametric predictive
inference (NPI)-based strategies for age replacement of components.
This work is in collaboration with Pauline
Coolen-Schrijner and Frank Coolen.
